OMNITEC Solutions, Inc. Wins IT Services CIO-SP3 Contract
() - Bethesda, Maryland (May 31, 2012) – OMNITEC Solutions, Inc. announces their inclusion as a prime contractor on the Chief Information Officers-Solutions and Partners 3 Contract (CIO–SP3), issued by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC). This 10–year, multiple-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) can be used by any federal civilian or Department of Defense (DoD) agency to acquire information technology (IT) products, services, and solutions.

OMNITEC will provide IT services for biomedical research, program management, technical engineering, integrated logistics, configuration and data management support, direct customer support, and security engineering support to all 10 Task Areas of the CIO-SP3 Contract. OMNITEC will support the full range of IT and business management solution needs across the federal government, with a particular emphasis on agencies like NIH and its parent, Health and Human Services (HHS) that are involved in healthcare and clinical and biological research.

OMNITEC has a long and successful record supporting the NIH, HHS, Department of Justice, and DoD. One example of this support is the National Database of Autism Research (NDAR). OMNITEC's NDAR team, led by program manager Dan Hall, was formed to meet the data challenges in scientific discovery by providing the most comprehensive bioinformatics infrastructure to accelerate scientific discovery.
