2012 NAVAIR Command Accomplishments

OMINITEC's Strategic Leadership Support group works closely with leadership at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at NAS Patuxent River to deliver concise and meaningful information to the U.S. Navy's internal and external audiences. This presentation of NAVAIR's 2012 Command Accomplishments is one example of the team's products. It provides a compelling visual that NAVAIR is a proven leader in developing, testing, delivering, and sustaining the aircraft, weapons, and systems our U.S. Sailors and Marines need to fight and win.

Naval Aviation News

The third oldest military periodical and the oldest Navy periodical, Naval Aviation News traces its origin to the 15 December 1917 Weekly Bulletin published in letter format by the Chief of Naval Operations (Aviation). After a series of changes over the years, the first issue of Naval Aviation News with its current title and format appeared on 15 September 1943. The magazine covers all aspects of naval air operations, from the latest technological advances in aircraft and weapons systems to the influence of American naval air power in global events. The mission of Naval Aviation News has not changed during its more than 94 years in print: to disseminate information of an official nature to meet the ongoing professional needs of Naval Aviation in a way more meaningful than through routine channels.
