SEAPORT

OMNITEC has the project experience and key staff qualifications to successfully accomplish the range of services under each functional area of the SeaPort-e contract. Our technical and management staff have a long history of quality engineering, communications, logistics, and program management experience supporting numerous Navy activities including NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVSUP, and SPAWAR. The majority of our DoD business is derived from contracts supporting the above listed Navy Systems Commands, as well as the Chief of Naval Information (CHINFO), Naval Media Center (NAVMEDIACEN), Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC), Chief of Naval Installations (CNI), and Military Sealift Command (MSC). This includes supporting the Navy’s Virtual SYSCOM initiative through the Strategic Sourcing Acquisition Center of Excellence.

Quality Assurance
OMNITEC has a NAVSEA 04Q approved Quality Management Systems. Our plan describes the quality control measures to audit and inspect each of the operational areas as outlined in the contract, the criteria for identifying problematic areas before service becomes unacceptable, and the methods to be used for keeping accurate records and tracking action items disposition.

Quality assurance reviews are conducted so that all deliverables meet performance requirements identified in the contract, as well as OMNITEC’s high standards of excellence. The Project Manager and IPT Leaders do random customer visits to ensure acceptable quality levels are maintained. Our Project Manager and IPT Leaders also periodically convene an informal Quality Management Board for the Team.

Our Contractor Contingency Plan identifies those OMNITEC Team personnel who are cross-trained and can replace an absent employee, our Performance Measurement Plan establishes the metrics for monitoring and assessing how well work is performed relative to contract requirements in each functional area, and our Contract Management Plan outlines the administrative processes we follow when distributing and executing work in full compliance with contract terms and conditions. It identifies the automated project management tools to be used for financial tracking, schedule monitoring, and resource allocation.
