Video Producer/Editor Broadcast Engineer 10.0009.DC; Multi Media Services OMNITEC Solutions has just been awarded a new Prime contract with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to operate, maintain, and update HUD’s Broadcast Operations Center located within HUD Headquarters in Washington, DC (20410). We are currently looking for a Broadcast Engineer with the following skills: This individual must have a minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the broadcast television environment. The Broadcast Engineer must be thoroughly knowledgeable of TV operations and engineering, knowledgeable of different equipment used in the production facility, and knowledgeable of production techniques and terminology, as well as significant experience in the maintenance of broadcast automation systems for the studio and automatic transmission systems for the transmitter plant. The Audiovisual Event Supervisor must have experience in operating ScheduALL and Microsoft Office and SharePoint software which tracks the scheduling of studios and classrooms for on site and distance learning sessions as well as tracking facilities and staff for all productions. The Audiovisual Event Supervisor must have exceptional presentation skills and should feel very comfortable communicating with multiple clients on an on-going basis (people person).
