    Duties and Responsibilities

    We need a "doer" who can help monitor, identify and resolve, with enough technical savvy to understand new vulnerabilities and collaborate with the rest of the team on resolving them. Your capability for independent analysis and resolution will be called on.

    • Provide expert technical services on all aspects of Information Security;
    • Assess system design/architecture as well as defining, and advising Information Security compliance with FISMA Moderate and/or NIST SP 800-53 controls (part of FedRAMP) and FIPS 140-2. 
    • Tasks includes incident response, system access approval, audit log review, and consultations/consulting on security issues;
    • Initiate protective and corrective measures when incident or vulnerabilities are discovered;
    • Perform maintenance and/or advanced configuration of systems in order to protect infrastructure from emerging cyber threats;
    • Conduct forensic traffic/log analysis to isolate issues or respond to analyst alerts;
    • Respond to escalated troubleshooting requests;
    • Present Monitoring/Test Results and Reports as required;
    • Perform/support integration testing as required.

    Required Skills

    • 3+ years of related experience in data security administration; 
    • Candidate will work with IT groups to configure IT systems with security as a requirement. 
    • The candidate will also work with developers, system engineers, project managers, and internal clients to identify the level of protection systems will need and will need to understand and be able to identify what changes or processes will satisfy security requirements; 
    • Execute processes to implement technical solutions to address vulnerability findings; 
    • Experience installing, hardening, deploying, documenting, and troubleshooting network perimeter security technologies; 
    • 1+ years SQL experience; 
    • The ability to work collaboratively on projects with an intensely goal oriented team;
    • US citizenship and ability to pass an MBI/Public Trust investigation required in order to access federal job sites and systems.

    Helpful Skills

    • CISSP certification or equivalent (CAP, GSLC, CISM);

    These will be full time positions with on-site work required in Patuxent River, Maryland, 20670. 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Job Duties will include tasks such as:

    • Provide assistance to Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to organize and facilitate project planning activities; 
    • Develop large and complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) through interactions with members of the IPT; 
    • Status an IMS via recurring interactions with members of the IPT; 
    • Provide timely schedule performance reporting to support decisions at various levels of the project organization; 
    • Facilitate the controlled change of schedule baselines including analysis, communication and documentation; 
    • Participate and provide input into Program Management Reviews (PMR), IPT meetings, and other program-related events; 
    • Document and improve maturity of customer’s management processes.

    Additional specific Scheduling focused tasks will also focus on:

    • Applying the principles of project management; 
    • Customizing Gantt charts; 
    • Calculating and analyzing the critical path; 
    • Creating summary views and filters; 
    • Externally linking project files and managing sub projects; and, 
    • Working in a dynamic environment planning/maintaining multiple schedules at one time.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field, or twelve (12) years relevant work experience can be substituted for a degree; 
    • Four (4) years of work experience planning, scheduling, and statusing projects; 
    • Proficiency with scheduling tools, preferably Microsoft Project. Experience with other tools such as Primavera, or Deltek Open Plan will also be considered; 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suites particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; 
    • Ability to establish rapport, gain an understanding of a customer needs, and to help influence decision makers via strong data analysis and reporting; 
    • Availability for Occasional travel within the continental United States; 
    • US citizenship and either an active clearance (highly preferred) or the ability to immediately obtain an Interim Secret is required.

    Helpful Skills

    • Ability to facilitate Schedule Risk Assessments and Integrated Baseline Review processes; 
    • Proficiency with probabilistic simulation tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis, Risk +; 
    • Experience with compiling project analysis and information into a portfolio level to support executive level briefs; 
    • Experience resource loading schedules with hours and dollars.

    Job Description

    We are looking for a qualified Service Desk Assistant Manager to join our team. 

    As a Service Desk Assistant Manager, you should have a solid technical background combined with customer service experience. A problem-solving attitude with an ability to motivate your team to achieve specific goals will be essential skills to perform well in this position.

    You will also ensure technology is used to its maximum and that staff are well-organized and productive. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure high quality technical support and increase client satisfaction while meeting Service Level Agreements.

    The goal is to do everything possible to attain goals and achieve great results for our company during the expanded hours of operations with minimal managerial oversite.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    You will be responsible for leadership to our Service Desk team to provide excellent customer service and resolve technical issues at the Service Desk level during expanded hours of operations. Expanded hours will be 1130 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, with Saturdays (730 to 1600).

    • Supervise the Service desk team and evaluate performance
    • Ensure customer service is timely and accurate on a daily basis
    • Create and maintain Knowledge Base for internal and external customers
    • Oversee training and support service desk representatives 
    • Contribute to improving customer support by actively responding to queries and handling complaints
    • Establish best practices through the entire technical support process
    • Follow up with customers and agents to identify areas of improvement
    • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports on help desk team’s productivity
    • Other duties and tasks as required.

    Required Skills

    • College degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated; High school diploma or equivalent with relevant job experience accepted
    • Current secret security clearance REQUIRED
    • Experience with AFPIMS, DNN or like CMS is needed
    • Hands on experience with Service desk ticketing software, JIRA prefered
    • Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience
    • Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Positive and patient
    • Proven work experience as a Service/Help desk team leader or Assistant Manager is a bonus
