    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide Full System Lifecycle Development;

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Required Skills

This should include time with your "hands on the guts of a server” supporting communication protocols, installation, trouble shooting, etc at the server level; 
    • Strong preference for some/any level of hands-on IA/Cyber security on the system side. Could be any experience installing, hardening, deploying, documenting, and troubleshooting network perimeter and/or Cyber security technologies, or forensic support for intrusion detection and incident response & repair, 
    • Additional experience with IA compliance, accreditation, certification, etc is a plus; this would be working with and understanding of things like: FISMA Moderate and/or NIST SP 800-53 controls (part of FedRAMP), and FIPS 140-2; 
    • 1+ years SQL experience;

    • Advise and assist leadership in planning the future workforce (Strategic Education and Development) needed to build Naval Aviation’s Future Capabilities; 
    • Assist with the integration of strategic roadmaps for NAVAIR’s Key Strategic Investment Areas; 
    • Work with a wide-range of SME’s and establish forums for collaboration and decision-making; 
    • Execute data calls, attend strategy meetings, track actions & monitor progress; 
    • Research and analyze DoD / DoN guidance and policy; 
    • Apply superb analytical, writing and editing skills to produce presentations, reports, and point papers; 
    • Conduct environmental scans and workforce management research and analysis; and; Support strategy development and monitor execution.

    Required Skills

    • 4-year degree, preferably in Business, Organizational Studies, Communications, or related field; an MBA is a plus; 
    • 7+ years of professional experience involving strategy / project planning, workforce and/or program operations, research, analysis, executive staff support and writing; 
    • Familiarity with the Navy, including aviation programs and protocol of high-ranking military officers; 
    • An Expert in the MS Office Suite; 
    • An active Secret security clearance is 100% absolutely required!

    Job Description

    These will be full time positions with on-site work required in Patuxent River, Maryland, 20670. 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Job Duties will include tasks such as:

    • Provide assistance to Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to organize and facilitate project planning activities; 
    • Develop large and complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) through interactions with members of the IPT; 
    • Status an IMS via recurring interactions with members of the IPT; 
    • Provide timely schedule performance reporting to support decisions at various levels of the project organization; 
    • Facilitate the controlled change of schedule baselines including analysis, communication and documentation; 
    • Participate and provide input into Program Management Reviews (PMR), IPT meetings, and other program-related events; 
    • Document and improve maturity of customer’s management processes.

    Additional specific Scheduling focused tasks will also focus on:

    • Applying the principles of project management; 
    • Customizing Gantt charts; 
    • Calculating and analyzing the critical path; 
    • Creating summary views and filters; 
    • Externally linking project files and managing sub projects; and, 
    • Working in a dynamic environment planning/maintaining multiple schedules at one time.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field, or twelve (12) years relevant work experience can be substituted for a degree; 
    • Four (4) years of work experience planning, scheduling, and statusing projects; 
    • Proficiency with scheduling tools, preferably Microsoft Project. Experience with other tools such as Primavera, or Deltek Open Plan will also be considered; 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suites particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; 
    • Ability to establish rapport, gain an understanding of a customer needs, and to help influence decision makers via strong data analysis and reporting; 
    • Availability for Occasional travel within the continental United States; 
    • US citizenship and either an active clearance (highly preferred) or the ability to immediately obtain an Interim Secret is required.

    Helpful Skills

    • Ability to facilitate Schedule Risk Assessments and Integrated Baseline Review processes; 
    • Proficiency with probabilistic simulation tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis, Risk +; 
    • Experience with compiling project analysis and information into a portfolio level to support executive level briefs; 
    • Experience resource loading schedules with hours and dollars.
