OMNITEC Solutions, Inc Awarded Two DoD Contracts

October 2, 2018 – The Department of Defense recently awarded OMNITEC Solutions, Inc. of Bethesda, Md. two separate contracts. The first is a 5-year, Firm Fixed Price contract, worth over 5.5 million-dollars to continue providing professional Media Analysis Research and Support to the Office of the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense, Public Affairs.  OMNITEC has provided these services to OSD/PA since 2004.

The work is a continuation of the professional media research and analysis support services OMNITEC already provides on a 24 hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week schedule to senior DoD leaders through the Office of the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense, Public Affairs.

The second award is a 40 million-dollar, Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price commodity contract to provide the Defense Media Activity with FedRamp-compliant Cloud Support Services, which includes software, infrastructure and platforms for public-facing DoD web properties and DMA organizational applications, over a five-year-period.

Cloud Support operations for this solution include project management, existing website and application migration, system administration, host platform architecture, application development, change management, cybersecurity including certification and accreditation, software development, data management and reporting.

In addition, OMNITEC is tasked with providing a cloud-based digital/media asset management solution allowing government users to digitize, store, retrieve and distribute media files.

The work for both contracts will primarily be performed in the Washington, DC area.
