    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Deploy and support Windows Server 2008 R2 / Windows Server 2012 R2 on physical hardware and virtual machines.
    • Deploy and support ASP.Net and PHP Web applications using technology such as IIS, ARR, Microsoft SQL Server and other web related technologies.
    • Provide operational support such as server monitoring, backups, patching, and other duties as required.
    • Write PowerShell to automate redundant tasks.
    • Find novel solutions to difficult problems.
    • Constantly learn and improve.
    • Share knowledge and collaborate with your teammates.

    Required Skills

    • 5+ years relevant professional experience.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong written / verbal communication skills. 
    • Strong demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 Server. 
    • Scripting Skills (PowerShell strongly preferred).
    • Experience with a virtualization platform such as VMWare.

    1. Develop, maintain and modify AutoCAD drawings that document shipboard systems for US Navy ships using established drawing standards. 
    2. Work with network and cable distribution engineers to layout cable runs within ships, develop rack elevation drawings, system-level schematics and wire run lists; 
    3. Review existing, and develop new drawings documenting as-built systems to ensure proper system configuration is accurately documented. The successful candidate must be capable of working within equipment racks without causing problems or issues to on-going operations. 
    4. Develop 3-D drawings of room arrangements, and equipment racks with installed equipment.
    5. Maintain a cataloging system that tracks the revision levels of drawings; 
    6. Other duties as assigned. 
    7. This position may occasionally require hours to be worked outside of the 8am-5pm M-F time frame, which could include early mornings or late nights, or occasional weekend coverage to fulfill the needs of the facility/client.

    • Proficiency with probabilistic simulation tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis, Risk +; 
    • Experience with compiling project analysis and information into a portfolio level to support executive level briefs; 
    • Experience resource loading schedules with hours and dollars.
